Capital Project Solutions brought together its friends and neighbors to help support Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee as SNAP benefits are set to expire for thousands of residents.
CPS was honored to contribute and stand with their partners and community to help fight hunger in Middle Tennessee, raising enough funds to help feed 120,000 people, with more donations still coming in!
Second Harvest’s mission is to nourish and empower people so they can thrive. They distribute food to neighbors through after-school programs, soup kitchens, senior centers, and other nonprofits.
Mayor Freddie O’Connell joined Dick Darr of CPS and Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee President CEO Nancy Keil to address resources for Nashvillians facing a loss of nutrition assistance because of the ongoing federal government shutdown.
